Views of Valencia

Unless you have a penchant for dangerous driving condition, I would definitely take the train to Valencia. Don't try parking near the train station in Gandía ...drive one stop further on to Xeraco. You don't have to fight with city traffic and the car park is never full. The picture (right) is the booking hall at Valencia station ...spot the absence of the traditional grime of railway stations in Britain!

You might be forgiven for thinking that this building (left) is the main town hall for Valencia ...but this grand design is nothing more than the exterior of the train station!

Some sort of coliseum (above) ...nearly, it's the bullfighting ring. It's probably best not to think about what goes on inside and just admire the grandeur. There are very many grand plazas (left) with buildings of remarkable beauty!
