You know how it is (or maybe you don't) you wear something that you just use for working around in and you know it's going to end up covered in who-knows-what. Of course, it isn't long before the aforesaid garment is something that you would never dream of wearing out where everyone can see you--especially when there's the odd tear here and there. Well, my old working shorts were a case in point. The trouble was that I had nothing else that was ready to be 'retired' to take their place. A couple of accidental tears later and I had a third hole I could get my leg through (made putting them on quite tricky). Today, I finally bought a cheap pair to replace these shorts ...but recorded their final moments for posterity ...or should that be 'posteriorety'.
The Front
Note that pockets were once present and you can still make out the darker patches left by their removal! One peephole enables the merest glimpse of underclothing.
The Left Side
One of the more successful attempts at removing the remains of one of the pockets, also removed a large amount of the other material!
The Right Side
As I'm right-handed, this was the side that I wiped my hand on when I needed to get rid of whatever was stuck to it.
The Arse End
Note the torn pocket, uneven leg length and decorative finger marks.
