These grand facades are to be seen  on some of the older buildings in the newer part of town. I think the building below has needed 'a bit of doing up' since the end of hostilities in the civil war!

There are always parts of a town that are never likely to make it onto  picture postcards. The back end of this church seemed to be in an advanced state of falling down. Almost all Spanish towns have a few streets that look like this; the rendering has fallen off and may have even been replaced, but never painted. Oddly enough, the grubby appearance of these buildings, at street level, has almost certainly been caused  by heavy rain splashing muck around.

Someday all websites will be like this; informative, engaging and not plastered with advertising!
