The kinds of fare are available. There is a lunchtime "menú del día" (menu of the day) that changes every day ...nice, but a tad expensive at 22€. A lunchtime buffet--very reasonably priced at 8€ and an evening a la carte. I tired the buffet (see right) and was quite impressed by the quality (so often buffets are deliberately bulked out with cheap ingredients and this one wasn't). Positively the first time I have found Skate in paella!
LANGUAGE
The menu is all in Spanish. A local write-up claims that some staff speak English, though I saw and heard no evidence of this. Some menu items are in the local dialect (Valenciano) and the staff should be able to help you with this. Failing this, you can either stick with what you know or be adventurous!
COMMENTS
The décor is excellent, chairs comfortable and the service is prompt, polite and helpful. There is a large terrace to the rear (see next page) and a children's play area that might just help you enjoy the last of your Sangría in peace. The restaurant is a restored water mill and some attempt has been made to restore original features in a way that doesn't interfere with your dining experience.
