Tuesday Altea (farm produce), Aspe, Benidorm (farm produce), Elda, Jijona, Orihuela and Pilar de Horardada (Mil Palmeras). Wednesday Alcoy, Banereres, La Mata, Benejama, Benidorm, Callosa de Segura, Campello, Guaredamar de Segura, Muchamiel, Novelda, Ondara, Petrer, Sax, Teulada, Polop de la Marina (farm produce), Benitachel and San Miguel. 	In these pages I have made a reasonable stab at publicising the days and places where Spanish open-air markets occur in the Provinces of Valencia and Alicante. This mainstay of purchasing inexpensive food and household items enjoys no Internet publicity …probably because no big money is involved. There are other types of open-air market (Medieval Markets and Craft Markets) …not terribly practical but they can be fun. I would willingly add pages to this site to publicise these too, but for the fact that the people organising these events find it impossible to provide more than a few weeks' advance notice of where and when they will happen!
