There isn't one! This restaurant only serves rustic Paella ...this is not the stuff with fish and shellfish (it is a meat dish). This restaurant is seriously famous for its Paella ...people drive up the mountain to have business lunches. Do try the 'empanadillas' ...served as a first course (little pasties).

LANGUAGE

Completely Spanish and more than a little Valenciano (local dialect).

COMMENTS

Only opens lunchtimes and doesn't open Wednesdays ...which is a little cranky, but when  you are this good at doing something then you can afford to be. Paella takes about three quarters of an hour to make. Always book a day or two in advance as Maria's Paella is so good that you have almost no chance of just wandering into the place and getting a table. The place is known as 'Bar Maria' locally. Don't eat anything before you go ...or you'll have to leave some Paella and then be inconsolable all afternoon!!
