MENU

At lunch time (starts about 1.30 in Spain) this bar offers a "menú del dia" (menu of the day). As nothing is written down, and choice will be limited, you will simply be told what is available. If your Spanish is not good then take a phrase book. In the evening there is a printed menu in English and Spanish.

LANGUAGE

As mentioned above, the bar has gone to the bother of translating its evening menu into English. At the time of going to press, none of the staff speaks any English.

COMMENTS

The food here is a cut above the average corner café ... it is unsophisticated, there is plenty of it and it is inexpensive. You can order from the printed menu at lunchtime (but it will cost you a bit more money). My suggestion would be to order a shared salad with your meal (the salads here are really good) and make a point of ordering "alioli" (garlic mayonnaise) to dip your bread in.
