I had the chance to grab a little more video footage of the River Wear (at the Fish Quay ...where the remaining trawlers tie up or anchor.

Here's a panoramic view, made out of a series of 'stills' ...lacks the 'life' of video (but is rock steady and sharper).

Lastly, here's a couple of photos I took in the back turnings north of Sea Road. Over the rooftops, at the end of each street scene, you can see countryside and this should give you some idea how near we are to farmland and the sea (at one and the same time).
