There have been enough enquiries about this subject to warrant its addition to the rambling suite of pages on this site. For the benefit of all those pedants out there, this is not the 'Michelin Guide' meets the Internet ...but one person's view of local eateries (with occasional contributions from my wife). There are both ordinary bars and full-blown restaurants reviewed. There are no 'star' ratings ...I have just not bothered to review venues I didn't like! If a place serves basic, inexpensive food, cooked well, then it rates a mention. Naturally, the more sophisticated fare on offer is reviewed with equal favour.

For the most part, I have confined my reviews to the local area (La Safor) and only cast my net a little wider in the case of one Indian restaurant and one 'silver service' restaurant!

No attempt has been made to describe the location of each venue as this is adequately covered in my villa's information folder.
