Daimuz (Daimus on some road signs and maps) has one of the quieter beaches with a little extra charm that is best sampled in the evenings. Those onshore breezes can make the hotter evenings more pleasant!

Make a meal out of 'tapas'on the little plaza that lays back just a short way off the promenade ...or visit Restaurante Manolo (see eating out pages), the area's premier fish restaurant.

Peruvian hawkers (left) have pitches on the promenade where you can buy some things that you never knew you needed.

Daimuz also has a street market on a Friday evening ...ideal for browsing around  prior to your evening meal.

There are no crowds - but enough people to lend an atmosphere of vitality to this quieter beach.

If you plan to spend the day at this beach, then bear in mind that you cannot hire sun-loungers and so forth.

A cheaper place to buy lunch is short drive away at Piles.
